Superb Soil
Our organic super soil. Fill the bottom third of your fabric pot, top it off, and just add water.
Roots that reach the fabric meet air and stop, so the plant grows new roots inside the pot instead of circling.
Extra water and air move through the sides, which helps prevent soggy, overwatered roots.
Soft, light and easy to move by its handles. Bring it in, take it out, chase the sun.
The 2 gallon matches our Indoor 2 Gallon kit and the 5 gallon matches our Medium 5 Gallon kit.
Indoors, set the pot on its saucer to catch drain water. Outdoors on soil or gravel you can skip it.
Fill the bottom third of the pot with Superb Soil, the nutrient reservoir your roots grow into.
Fill the rest with top soil, up to about 2 inches from the rim.
Water it well to settle the soil, then plant your seedling and let the extra water drain.

They breathe. Roots that reach the fabric are air-pruned, so the plant keeps growing new roots inside the pot, and the fabric lets extra water and air move through the sides, which helps prevent overwatering.
In a hard plastic pot, roots that reach the wall turn and keep circling. In a fabric pot, a root tip that reaches the wall meets air and stops there. The plant then grows new roots inside the pot instead.
Both let air reach the roots. An air pot is a rigid plastic pot with holes or cones in its sides. A fabric pot is a soft, breathable cloth pot, light and easy to move by its handles.
Indoors, yes, if you want to catch the water that drains through. Outdoors on soil or gravel you can skip it. Each size comes with or without one.
A 2 gallon pot suits a compact plant on a windowsill or in a small tent. A 5 gallon pot gives a bigger plant more room on a balcony, patio or in a tent.
Fabric pots dry out faster than plastic, since air moves through the sides. Water when the top inch of soil is dry, and let the extra drain into the saucer.
Yes. Empty it after your harvest, rinse it out and let it dry fully before your next grow.
They are the same sizes: the 2 gallon matches our Indoor 2 Gallon kit and the 5 gallon matches our Medium 5 Gallon kit.
