Our 5 Gallon Pot thrives on a balcony, outdoors, in a garden, or in a greenhouse. During the winter, or if you don’t receive direct sunlight, use a grow tent or just hang an LED above your autoflowering plant and dont worry about light cycles. If you have limited sun exposure, move your pot indoors under LED lighting during shaded hours or when a cold front is approaching.

Lighting Needs

Maximize the growth of your 5 gallon a Pot for Pot cannabis plant with as much sun as you can give it. Plus, it’s free! When growing under LED lights, a minimum of 75 watts per pot is required indoors to get a good yeild. Mixing LED lighting with moving to sunny spots works well if your space gets limited direct sun and is friendly to your electricity bill.

Varieties & Planting Info

The 5 Gallon Pot works great for all varieties of cannabis during all phases of the plant’s life cycle. For beginner cannabis growers, we highly recommend growing autoflowering strains to make it as fast and easy as possible. Pot size is ideal for early-season cannabis outdoors, which will be ready to harvest around August. Only grow photoperiod strains in a grow tent, or when planting late in the outdoor growing season.

When to Plant?
