Super Soil Grow System
The benefit of using Super soil is additional nutrients are not needed, the plant is grown in a natural environment. Producing healthy plants with just water from seedling to harvest.
Super soil refers to a very nutrient dense blend of natural and organic ingredients. All the micro and macro nutrients are contained in the organic matter. The mechanism is the living soil food web to break down matter so it is bio-available for the plant.
Our Superb Soil is designed to be used as the bottom 1/4 of the soil in your pot. The top soil mix is coco coir, peat, and perlite. The bottom layer acts as the nutrient reservoir and the topsoil holds the moisture and provides space for the roots.
You can use organic nutrient additives if you want but your plant will grow just as well without them. The joy of growing like this is it gives you time to focus on the growth of your plant, not running a daily science experiment.
Keeping your soil moist is the key to growing healthy plants in soil. Try to keep it damp like a sponge that wont leave streaks on a counter top. When setting up your pot, take note of its fully soaked weight. Try to maintain around 1/4 of its soaked wight as a guide line for the correct dampness.
Super soil provides a PH buffer for your water. If it is safe for human consumption you can use it on your plant. What is very important is to only use chlorine free water, as that will kill the living soil and cause nutrient lockout. This can be achived by using cholorine filter or leaving your water to sit out for several days.
We use a tweaked version original Super Soil mix that was popularized by Subcool that works for us. What makes the mix so powerful is it mostly nutrients and not a lot of filler. Our soil is around 8x denser than store bought top soil. We use the highest quality ingredients we can find and let our soil cook for sever months.
